Bina Gupta an Indian American poet. Born in India and raised in Mumbai, and received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bombay University. She has divided her adult life between India and the United States.Bina’s passion for writing has been with her since childhood and she has been developing her creative talent since the mid 70’s while living and working in Cleveland Ohio. Gupta’s voice has now come to fruition in her compilation of over 125 poems titled - My Heart On My Sleeve. Works from these series have been published in poetry anthology and have been selected to appear on www.poetry.com, www.findpoetry.com and five pieces have been included as part of a permanent exhibit related to WTC 911 disaster featured at the Museum of Chinese of the Americas (MoCA).

Bina is married to a US citizen and lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She is well traveled and once owned and ran a consultancy firm catering to the chemical industry as a director. She has a son who lives near Washington DC and a daughter Chitra Ganesh, a renowned artist who has exhibited her work in Korea, China, Germany, Italy and Switzerland besides working at MOMA NY in the recent past.
