Go Slowly, Come back Quickly, my Love
Love makes it harder to be apart
I die daily a wee bit, when you depart
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
Twin souls fused, we are one only
Both selves jiving in perfect harmony
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
I realize that constant journey you must
Still all my reasoning bites the dust
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
When you are gone for very long
My heart rejects every love song
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
The rooster, the sun, daily herald new day
They mean nothing to me, as you make my day
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
Life has color, when you are in its orbit
Else all is gray, each and every minute
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
My eyes seek you everywhere I turn
Reality is, you are me and I you, in union
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
Night has fallen everyone is homeward bound
Come nestle in my arms and let love resound
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
Thou art my sun, moon, stars and universe
In your absence, this life is just a curse
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
Go slowly, come back quickly, My Love
Never the time and the place and the loved one all together!
Robert Browning
1812-1889, British Poet
These two imparadised in one another’s arms, the happier Eden,
shall enjoy their fill of bliss on bliss.
John Milton
1608-1674, British Poet
Journeys end in lovers meeting.
William Shakespeare
1564-1616, British Poet, Playwright, Actor
Love is a smoke made with the fume of sighs. Being purged, a fire sparkling
in lovers eyes. Being vexed, a sea nourished with lovers tears. What is it
else? A madness most discreet, a choking gall and a preserving sweet.
William Shakespeare
1564-1616, British Poet, Playwright, Actor
Separated lovers cheat absence by a thousand fancies which have their own reality.
They are prevented from seeing one another and they cannot write; nevertheless they
find countless mysterious ways of corresponding, by sending each other the song of birds,
the scent of flowers, the laughter of children, the light of the sun, the sighing of the wind,
and the gleam of the stars –all the beauties of creation.
Victor Hugo 1802-1885, French Poet, Dramatist, Novelist

Hey Bina,
Submitted by pranathi on May 18th, 2008 7:44 amAmazing stuff..I am reading this for the first time and I am overwhelmed by the content.:-)
Love is the only factor that binds any 2 souls on this earth ..As a coincidence, I was discussing the final departure of two old souls who are still very much in love.. how they wished to depart together…
Bina, you have amazing talent.. will soon read all your poems here..
Each one seems to be a gem..
