YEARNINGS
half-formed yearnings raise their hoods
in my bosom
an intangible, fluid mish mash gushing
in my head
a sense of disquiet, a crushing sadness
in my heart
alas, if only i could pinpoint the
source of such progeny
then, i would nurture it not
in my being
but amputate them courageously
freeing my soul
to be at
peace
with
myself!
“If you’re yearning for the good old days, just turn off the air conditioning.”- Griff Niblack, In Indianapolis News
Musical people are so absurdly unreasonable. They always want one to be perfectly dumb at the very moment when one is longing to be absolutely deaf. -Oscar Wilde, 1856-1900, British Author, Wit

Hi Bina, Fabulous. Just the right thing you did to have your own web site to house your poems. I always admired your poems and now I will get to read them more. Please keep it up. Ajoy
